how to install linux on a network through FTP ?

Is FTP the best option for installing a linux on a network?If not please tell me which is the most preferable.please tell me how to configure it.

i didnt got your point. do you wnat to access any linux machine through ftp? or want to install it on some pc.
if you want to install it on some pc then, you need source code and get access to it from pc you want to install. access could be in any form - http / remote call ect.
if you want to access remote linux machine then rsh is better option then ftp.
