I'm past all that now, but I used to take a couple of painkillers, fill a hot water bottle and go to bed for a couple of hours with the water bottle against my lower back and my knees drawn up in front of me. I guess the painkillers eased the pain, the hottie made me feel more snug and I slept for a while, waking refreshed and free of the excruciating pain. If you don't like taking meds, there are some great herbal remedies for these problems too. Brightest Blessings, my friend.

Sorry... I was a bit late responding to your discussion. I don't know what Advil is... presumably some painkiller or hormonal treatment. I'm in England, so don't really know what's available on the market there.

Thanks for the response. Advil usually does the trick but that week it was not helping me.

I remember those days! I'm so happy I don't have to worry about those days anymore! My monthly female days were getting so bad and irregular I saw the doctor about it! Nothing I tried work to make it regular again! It had been screwed up for along time and getting worse! I ended up getting a hysterctomy done last May! It was worth it! Now I have peace of mind!

Aww that's no fun, and I definitely know exactly what you mean. *sigh*. I usually take some Pamprin, lay down with a heating pad, and try to relax (while watching Lifetime movies). Hope you feel better soon1
