Okay, I'm looking for cool stuff online for my sims 2 game, but I'm having a hard time. I need it to be free, and though a few outfits are fine and dandy I'm really looking for the stuff kind of stuff. Like, back when I had regular sims I had all sort of cool stuff like a chalkboard that you got money for completing scientific theroys on. A typerwriter that paid you. And, okay, so not just the stuff that pays the sims. But, thats along the lines that I'm looking for. Also, if anyone knows what I need to do to play my sims2 people online. I think that might be cool to give a try.

Have you tried The Sims Resource? My friend introduced me to the site years ago when we were playing the original Sims. It's grown a lot to include Sims 2 and it looks like they're already planning ahead for Sims 3. You can become a paid subsriber, which I was at one point, but there are a lot of things you can get for free. Here's the link. http://www.thesimsresource.com/ I hope that helps. I did have links to other sites but I'd have to look for them. Besides, this is the one I used the most. Hope it helps!

Wow! Thanks! This site looks like it might be exactly what I'm looking for. I'm kind upset that they are coming out with a Sims3 already. It better have some features that I'd like. Haha. I always get annoyed with I have their skill levels all built up and then I can't build them up anymore. Like, ooookay, now what? They have a huge house, the most expensive car, they best job... they can live forever... what do you do with them then? So, I start a new sim, or move one of their kids out. But, I still wish I could make some super smart sim that just keeps learning forever or something. Haha.

I'm not sure about this, but you can always give sims2.ea.com a try to see if they have anything that you can download. sims3.ea.com gives you info on the new sims game that's coming out. hope that helps!

Glad I could help! To be honest don't think I've been to the sims 2 site in awhile, if at all. I have two versions of the sims 2, one I borrowed from my uncle on the pc.

Haha, I love the Youtube video on that sims2 site. I got a little lost of the rest of the site, but the video was so worth it! Thanks.

The site I use the most is called modthesims2. It has tons of stuff including some of those cheat things you were talking about. I got a cheat from there that helps make homework go faster and another one that shuts of aging by age instead of shutting them all off. I also use one that makes you be friends with everyone on your lot. I think its called tombstone of life or something like that. You do have to register but its free. They also have a sister site that is a bit on the naughty side. I forget whats its called but there is a link to it on the top of the page.

I am not a game player and have never played sims2. I have heard about it however, and it does seem interesting. Can you briefly explain the game to me?

No prob! Sims2 is a 'human simulation' game. Haha. I have the pc version which I like a lot better than the playstation version. Anyhow. You get to make your person and pick out their hairstyle, clothes, personality and all that (you can also make a whole family, but I don't reccomend starting out like that) Then you move them into a house and choose a job for them. Throughout the game stuff happens to make them unhappy, they catch the stove on fire, they don't have any friends, they don't do anything fun. (they are very finiky creatures) when that happens you can't get them to do the skill building they need to do to advance in their job! So, they sometimes end up getting fired or just never advance in their job. It's cool because you can take a couple and have them do 'woohoo' (I think it's pretty discreet though) and then the woman get's pregnant, has a baby and then you can see the baby grow into a toddler, a schoolager, a teenager, and adult, and then elderly. You can keep them living indefentely with this special elixer of life, but if you don't they do end up dying. It's pretty cool. There is a whole bunch more you can do with them, but I'm trying to keep this brief for you. Haha.
