I'm still not sure what to do

I asked mylotters afew days ago about silverlight. I guess it's sort of an animation player like flash. I found it on my desktop, though when I went into currently installed programs, it hadn't been installed yet. No one from mylot answered, so I went onto Yahoo answers. No one answered, though I did a search and found someone had asked about it. One person said it's a piece of crap, another person said it's great, dosn't harm your computer and advised to go ahead and install it. So I would like to see at least one more opinion. Does anyone have experience with this?
