Does It Happen in Three's?

Do you believe in bad luck happening in three's? Have you ever had this happen to you? Either all in the same day or over a period of two or three days? I can't say that I believe in it but I can definitely say that it has happened to be so I know when to be wary. Sometimes it is just best to go home and stay there until the Next day! For today, it was a bizarre day. It started out OK. Then I locked the keys in the car first thing. Neither of us, my dog and myself has a coat. We were just going into a store for a few minutes and then off again to our next destination. The reason for stopping at the store went really good. Almost miraculously. As I was looking for a tall order and the store has, to my surprise, exactly what I was looking for. Tow truck came, got me into the car and charged me ten bucks less than what they normally charge. Next, we had a good day overall. Actually excellent. Upbeat, had some gut busting laughs and then we had to stop at home for a second before heading off to an over nighter with my dogs Auntie. Well, I pull into the parking lot, stop and proceed to back into a parking spot. Once parked, I see a car that was obviously behind me, coming into the lot as well. They drove past very slow and glared at me. I obviously didn't see them when I went to back up and likely almost hit them. The guy didn't look impressed at all! We were off for an overnighter. The dog was super excited. She knew exactly what was up. We had to make one stop in town and then onto the highway to head up the mountain and down the other side. About a 45 minute drive. We got on the highway and I shifted into fourth. I went to increased speed and the revs went up but the cars speed didn't. Ah-oh. I was having a chatter in the clutch about two weeks ago. We had to stop at the first gas station to call our destination as there was no way we were going to make it over the mountain when I can't excellerate in fourth gear, never mind fifth. What a disappointment, for everyone. Especially the dog. That was exactly what we needed this week end was to get outta dodge but we managed to limp back into town, stopped at my dog's new favorite park and then came home. We need a clutch job now. There was a pattern of three. Have you ever had one of those days or know anyone who has? If so, what happened?
