A friend and I were sorting some 700 pound calves about a month. One of the calves bolted around him and when it did the hole herd followed. he moved out of the way.I was behind working another gate. I tried to turn the herd so we would not have to regather them but they would not turn.As i was getting out of the way I trip and fell before I could get up the herd was on top of me. I had 30 stampeding cattle running over the top of me and all I could think of was what is my family going to without me.Luckily I escaped death unharmed not even a scratch. what is yopur near death story?
