"Let Sleeping Dogs Lie"

Buster - He's so relaxed sleeping with head rested on the arm of the chair.

A good phrase to say the least. My Buster gets so relaxed in his old age when he sleeps. He snores and grunts when asleep all too often. Anyhow this photo is of him in my office in the lazy boy. 3 a.m. and he woke me up from the couch with his snoring. He was sound asleep as I called him and no reaction at all. So I had to get a photo of him like this. Does your pet use the arms of furniture like a pillow? Does your pet snore, wheeze, or grunt in their sleep at all? HAPPY POSTINGS FROM GRANDPA BOB!!~

My dog likes to get under the covers or a pillow but when he is on the couch he will prop his head on the arm. My cat is the one who will snore and or wheeze when sleeping. My daughter has a boxer, he is young, and he can snore right along with the best snoring man. hahaha It is so funny.

Mine was abused before we got him, so he still has nightmares. He will appear to be running and whining as if someone is beating him. We wake him by telling him it is okay. Really sad as e got him at about 6 weeks and he is now 6 but still has past in his mind at times. Otherwise , yes he can REALLY snore and make funny noises!

busy... That's a shame. My ex son-in-law hit this one as well. He sees me putting on my shoes and he winces. Some people are not meant to be a pet owner. Thanks. HAPPY POSTINGS FROM GRANDPA BOB!!~

Couch Potatoes - Gus (right) and Cookie think they own the couch.
Aw, that is so cute!! Cookie likes to sleep on pillows and at night she burrows under the covers with me. Gus likes to sleep in a giant basket, I've attached a picture. He'll also sleep under the covers with me but he stretches out and practically pushes me out of bed! Then he'll push his face up so just his body is covered and the snoring starts--egad!! Like a freight train at times! I couldn't find the basket picture, here is the two of them being couch potatoes!

There is no way that I snore, and don't let anyone tell you different. I get to take over the couch every night, and just sleep most of the time. I love to lie on my back with my head lying on a cushion - Lovely!! I'm not that old, only 6 and a bit, so will be some time till I reach old age. Paws for thought.

That is to cute. My cat used to go under my covers on my bed. My son went to find her one time and got fed up looking for her and sat on my bed and there she was under the covers. I so miss her. Had to put her down. Now I just love other peoples pets as I don't want another one. Your friend onlydia

LOL good for you Buster my boy - give AGB some of his own treatment! Actually the older my cat Tia gets the louder her snoring gets! lol She doesn't use the arm of the chair but the back of the sofa - it is all squashed into her perfect shape and everything and the kids have to go over it with sticky tape to get rid of all her hairs! lol xxxx

Hi there friends, This is such a funny site. I was thinking about this while watching my dog Tazz sleeping. Most times he sleeps so soundly that you cannot wake him up. And he seems to have the worst nightmares. I often wonder, we've always owned Tazz so I don't know why he has nightmares and what about? He is so spoiled you wouldn't believe it. To wake him from a nightmare, I actually have to physically shake him to get him to open his eyes and come out of it. Well good luck with yours. Cheryl

Tukay - Her fav spot is the back of the couch
I think your Buster and my Tukay would make a pretty good pair . Tukay's favorite spot is the back of the couch. I think that's mostly so she can look over our shoulders to see if we have anything worth begging for. You can see from the size of her, that she isn't too picky with the snacks...lol.

When my Sassy was alive she'd grunt in her sleep all of the time. I think she was dreaming of catching a "taco" being that was the food she begged the most for lol. And her back leg would twitch from time to time when she really got to dreaming. Aww, I really do miss her. Namaste-Anora

My cats use anything they want to as a pillow. Creamery snores, I think it is because he has somewhat mashed nasal passages from a distant Persian relative. Tiger snores, and drools, it is old age. Princess just curls up and is a relaxed ball of black fur, anywhere she finds comfort.

Aww--he's cute even when he's sleeping. My one cat Kissy snores up a storm, she snores louder than a person...LOL. As for my two cats using the arms of chairs or sofas as a pillow...nope, but Pyewacket uses my head as a pillow sometimes when I'm sleeping....or since I'm a stomach sleeper he stretches himself across my back, so of course I can't move an inch.

Hey Grandpa Bob! Buster is so adorable when he is sleeping so nice like that! He has such a rough life! He looks so tired out! What did the poor doggy do all day to wear himself out like that? My cats make themselves comfy on whatever piece of furniture they feel like and I let them! The love to sleep in my computer chair when I get out of it for the night, or they think I'm out of it for the night! If I decided I want it back, well then that's too bad for me!
