Do you listen to music in the shower? Some people even own a shower radio. I never got into the concept. Mostly because I don't have time. I am in and out before I can most of the time enjoy anything about a shower. Taking a bath, some take in books, or candles. But how do you enjoy a shower?

Personally, I feel that a shower radio isn't necessary. Now if someone needs to be in and out of the shower at a specific time, say in order to get out the door to work on time but have an all important radio news cast they want to hear or perhaps the weather is bad and they don't want to miss the road condition update, then I can see wanting to have the radio on in the shower. I have seen these radios and I have thought "cool! I want one". I have never bothered though and probably wont. If I am showering, rather than having a bath, it is a quick one. I enjoy the shower with soap that lathers, usually a lavender liquid soap and a loofah sponge. I usually brush my teeth as soon as I get in the shower because I enjoy the shower a lot more if my teeth have been brushed. Yes, I sometimes brush my teeth in the shower.

I don't play music in the shower , I don't even sing in the shower . I just get in there and wash and get out . If I am soaking in a bath tub I like music on . Relaxing in the bath with some smooth Jazz playing is soo relaxing . I even love to sing in the tub, but as for showers go I just get in and get out .

Interesting. Sounds like a great way to enjoy a relaxing bath. If I really want to relax in the bath, I usually start with aromatherapy bath oils and a candle or two. I like the room to be warm too. My favorite is taking a container of yogurt in the tub with me and eating it as I soak. In order to completely relax, I need to hear what is going on around me so i wont play music, usually.

I've never gotten into singing in the shower or playing music either. Not really my thing. I think my older sister is a fan of candles while she takes a bath, but that's not me.

shower radio - shower radio is used in the bathroom
I think it is better to hear the music when I am having the shower. But the shower radio is still not the necessary thing in my opinion. But it is a good idea. I don't think today's radio channels are very interesting. I love China

Gosh, those used to be the days!! Before I got married and had children, I always had to have the radio when I showered and took a bath, but now my showers and baths are so quick and to the point, I don't even know if I got to do everything I should have done, lol. I have two children and both of them insist that the time to ask mom something is when she is in the bathroom, and my little girl stands at the shower and pulls the curtain back to make sure I am still in the shower and not being sucked down the drain.

Yes, I usually listen to music while doing shower. But it is not actually through the radio. What I usually does is that I volume up my television in the music channel. Then that's the time that I can listen to music. I helps me to relax while having shower.

Yes, I usually listened to music when I am doing shower. But it is not over the radio, I usually volume up my television, I put it in the music channel then that's it. I already got the chance of listening to music while doing shower. It gives me a relaxing effect because while I am taking a bath I can hear mellow songs which helps me partly forget all the negative thoughts that is in my mind.

I take quick showers. I am in, get clean, and get out. I don't linger in the shower like a lot of people do. I used to keep a CD player in the bathroom that I would have on while I was showering and getting ready though.

I enjoy my shower as the water propels off of me. I really do not need extra toys in the shower with me. I have never been into shower radios either. I can see someone taking a long leisurely bath may want soft soothing music to help relax them. I couldn't be so bother with a radio while I am taking a shower.

I like to listen to the radio when I'm in the shower or tub. Sometimes if I'm going to take a relaxing bath, I use either my portable DVD player or my little TV and watch a movie or something. Or, I just listen to the radio.

Somehow I end up either listening to a tape or CD or I just end up singing. Singing is fun because of the echoes in the bathroom and you can trick yourself into thinking that you are really quite talented. It is only when I really sing out that everyone in the house hides.

The speed of a shower makes it very hard to enjoy in the same way as you would enjoy a bath. I suppose you could try and drag it out by playing the bionic man music and moving very slowly in time, yet still apearing to be moving quickly so everything would balance out in the end.

For me, no I don't listen to music while showering. I would definitely take longer if if I did and my water bill would be like $20 or more a month. I get in wash what needs washed and getting my relaxing done afterwards. I don't do bathes but if I did candles, a good book and some music and a glass of white wime would be heavenly...till the water got cold.
