Triond users, do you like the new widget?

Triond freelance writing site has now introduced a brand new widget for you to display your latest content. You can decide between a silver or black outline and you can also select the size and the number of articles you want to display. I think this is a fabulous idea and a good way to promote your articles on your blogs, and social networking sites.
Have you added the new widget to your website yet? Do you think it will help you gain more readers?

Actually I'd prefer a higher rate of pay instead of a new widget. I think their pay rates are awfully small, and I've always wondered how much they make off of our articles. I have some that have had quite a bit of readership and earned only pennies. What they pay is hardly better than nothing.

Yes they dont pay me as much as Helium, but then again it depends on the niche. If you write jokes or stories they hardly earn anything, whereas some of my health articles have earned 25 cents per hundred views, which is more than AC pays for 100 views. I wish they would also bring in some sort of upfront payment the way AC has for US members and Helium has for everyone. Perhaps all these recent changes on Triond mean they are increasing their earnings and are maybe going to add something lile upfront payments in future. Surely this is the only way they could keep up with the success of sites like AC and Helium.

What is your username on Triond, perhaps I could view your articles and you could view mine. I could add you to my friends list so I see whenever you publish something new and then go and visit it and comment. My username is LauraT
