Does anyone have any tips on cleaning grout between tiles?

I have tried all sorts of things for getting the grout between my bathroom wall tiles clean, but the only thing I've found that works is a thick bleach. I hate using that - I have to have all the windows open, and can only do a tiny bit at a time because I get a really bad sore throat, and the smell hangs around for days. The worst part is that my bathroom walls are completely tiled - not my idea it was like that when we moved in. I've even tried using a tool to remove the grout so that I can re-grout, but found that very difficult to use, and my arms get tired quickly! So does anyone have any good ideas about what to do?

Thanks, I will try that now. I'm not sure if I've got white vinegar, but I've got some lemon juice. I'm so desperate, I've even been trying to clean with my electric toothbrush!

If the lemon juice doesn't work, then I'll have to go and get some white vinegar to try. Thanks.

This is a serious problem that I am facing in my house. Rest room is the worstly affected area. My husband is having a very hard time cleaning it and he is spending a lot of time doing it. It will be very helpful if somebody can share some thoughts on it. Thank you Katsalot for bringing this topic to light.
