That is a very uplifting story Chimes. It just does go to show that there are some great ordinary people in the world doing exceptional things. So I would say a big hats off to this guy for his good thinking and going above the normal call of duty

I like finding good news. To many stories are about bad, sad, or scary things... politics, crimes against kids, too much hurt. Thanks for stopping in!

http://kstp.com/article/stories/s849976.shtml?cat=1 This was the recent story here in Minneapolis of a few local superheros in our area. I think it's great that people are doing good deeds and paying it forward. We all should be looking to do these good deeds every day, if it's just checking on a neighbor to make sure they are ok. Or maybe an elderly person lives near you and you could stop in for tea. Namaste-Anora

That is another great story Anora, thanks for sharing. I think you are right, we can all do our bit in life to some good. Sometimes it is the little things people do that can make a big difference to others.

How amazing is that? I think it is truly wonderful that someone can put themselves out to help a frightened youngster in any way they can. My everyday hero is actually another mylot member and a very special lady indeed. I am lucky enough to know her in real life as well as here on the lot. To me she is mam - to the kids she is Nanny Wee and she is an amazing woman - she cares for her elderly parents who both have Alzheimers , her husband (Faither ) who has had heart problems and surgery and whom she adores and also her youngest son , my lovely wee brother) who at 28 is fantastic but needs some help due to his Cerebral Palsy. Despite the fact that she has bad Asthma and Arthritis , looks after so many of her family members and has lost 4 st in weight and looks fantastic - she still finds time to always be there for me and my family! If she wasn't my neighbour I would be lost! So Weemam I love you and am really grateful to have you in my life, family and heart! Hugs xxx

Lovely to have such a great friend. I'm so very happy for you. And she sounds like she has a lot to deal with but comes out smiling on the other side. Weeman.... it's good to know you are in the world to make it that much better. I wish you all that and more.
