try this step by step, there is no good teacher as yourself, after installing it make sure, you check the temp of your pc, if you got messed up in installing, the temp of your proc will rise as hell, as a result overheat! check my discussion about overheating: http://www.mylot.com/w/discussions/1955754.aspx and also google the speed fan for temp of your proc or pc health in bios

I have some few questions regarding with this. I think i am facing an overheating problem right now but not too sure about it. My pc crashes as in totally freeze and i need to reboot my pc to work again but im facing the same problem over and over again. Actually, i dont have problems regarding with viruses since my pc is clean. Is it a sign that my pc is overheated?

Thanks for the response. I just found out today that my CPU fan isnt running at all. I was waiting for it to run but 30 mins of waiting still i havent seen it running. For the meantime, i ventilate my PC with an electric fan, try to keep it warm but i know this isnt an adviceable one and im afraid my processor will get cooked. Luckily, i have an intel one, so its more safer. Lol!

as much as possible dont do it! i mean it!if you still want your proc or mobo in one piece, you should buy a new cpu fan. i really dont prefer push pins, if you have enough money go for the one that needs a backplate like asus. or if you dont have one push pins, if you really dont have enough money try my alternatives in the link.
good luck ^^

I have been having problems lately about overheating due to fan failure of my PC. Made so many fan changes long time ago and yet it still goes to overheating mainly because my fans don't last long. The last one I have installed lasted for about a few months and the middle of that fan melted like ice cream and the fans fell off. Researching for some ways to protect my Pc from overheating and I came across some but to no avail. Thanks for the link Exkrima, its a great help, need to fix this heating problems before having lots of major troubles thereafter.
