Satisfy that craving/need!

I love those also, delicious. I haven't had one in a very long time. I just start at one end and eat to the other end, well sometimes I might have to get some of the creme that is oozing out the other end.

It must have been good as even the picture looks delicious!! hehehehehehe.... I would have to say that is one of my favorite donutes but i definitely dont get them to often and I dont really have a technique to eat them...when I do indulge and get one... they get devoured!!! enjoy your donuts!!! and happy mylotting!!

OOhhh, you are making me want one, and I'm not supposed to have sugar...lol. I like the eclairs and just regular chocolate covered donuts. I guess the regular chocolate covered ones are my favorite. Sometimes there's too much filling in the eclairs for me. I just take bites and eat as I go, no special way.

I like the Eclairs, but chocolate donuts are not my favorite. I love the raspberry filled donuts more than any. Krispy Kreme donuts have the best! We lived in Nashville for about 5 years and it was close to run downtown to their shop and sit and eat a few donuts! They came right off the line and were delicious. I could have eaten a half dozen, but we always stopped on two a piece.

Donuts are my passion. Lucking it's only the ones that come from real bakeries, not the mass-produced kind. And there doesn't seem to be a lot of bakeries where I live, so that's probably a good thing. My favorite is the yeasty treasures filled with black raspberry jelly and generously frosted with tons of powdered sugar. If you don't wear sugar down the front of your shirt, it's not the right kind of donut. Of course the only way to eat them is to startwith the jelly-filling hole. It's better in your mouth, than down the front of your shirt. Tukay (my chihuahua) disagrees with me. She gets the cleanup job when I'm done, and would rather see a nice glop down the front of me...lol.

My favorite donut/doughnut would have to be the cruller... sometimes called French cruller, sometimes honey cruller... the ones that look like tractor wheels. And I always, always, eat the hole last.

Hi Grandpa Bob! I do love donuts but have them only once in awhile because it will add much to my weight, if I really will satisfy my cravings for them. LOL! But my favorite is the honey glazed. I am not so much a fan of donuts with fillings although I will have them once in awhile too. Take care and God Bless! lovelots..faith

I love chocolate filled donuts and lemon filled--I can't decide which is better! I haven't had any for years, though, I really should get one. We have a bakery here that's been in my little town for generations, everything is homemade from scratch and it all tastes too good! Darn you, I hope you haven't planted the seed in my head that will put another pound on me!

I love chocolate eclairs from a place called the Blue Frog in Orange, California, USA... They take the Eclair to a whole new level with plenty of rich dark chocolate and yummy custard filling. It is wonderful! I also like the donuts from Dolly's Donuts in Orange too and love the fact that it is open 24 hours. I nibble the filled donut,lick the filling a little, then start biting it... savoring every bite until even the crumbs are gone.

Hello Grandpa Bob, after reading your post I can't help but feel the hunger and my sweet tooth would want those donuts. It had been some time since I last ate eclairs and I would love the taste of it again. I would go out later to have some donut to satisfy my sweet tooth.... hmmppp.. this may mean extra calories in my body but I won't deprive myself for a taste of it. Have a great day!!!

Hi GRANDPA BOB, Oh don't! those are my favourite as well and I haven't them for a long time but now seeing them I will treat myself to them this weekend, at the moment I can't help eating those baby tomatoes, I don't know why but I love them popping in my mout when I bite on them, they are so sweet. Hey Grandpa Bob! You are a real junk food junkie and we have so much in common! I just love Chocolate Eclairs so I love the donuts too! I also love Blueberry Donuts and those twisty long doughnuts, and powdered, and even plain doughnuts! I just love doughnuts except for lemon! You are now making me crave doughnuts and it's pouring rain out and it's 9:00pm and I know my bf won't stop at Dunkin Doughnuts because even if he did they probably wouldn't have anything left but crumbs!

Oh my that sounds good.. I have weakness for chocolate eclairs too.. Now I am craving it.. I also love a good old jelly donut, and when I eat these donuts I bite straight into it so I can taste the icing and the filling all at once.. OK, thats it now I need a Dunkin Donuts.. A donut and a coffe sounds really good right about now.

GB, if it wasn't for you, I'd be starving! All the talk of food and sweets and vegies keeps me going while I'm trying to watch my weight. The Sara Lee discussion the other day was particularly impressive ... keep it up!

chocolate Eclirs are good. I also like lady locks and Cream filled donuts. I really don't have a certain way that I eat a donut.

i live within a couple of steps walking distance of a dunkin donuts so if i really wanted a donut i wouldn't have far to go. i actually like the cream filled donuts the ones with the bavarian creme filling and the vanilla pudding filling they are so good i know they are a little fattening but you don't think about that when having one. the glazed donuts are pretty good too. i actually like the blueberry muffins they have over here because they are pretty big so one is plenty. i am trying to lose weight so i need to stay away from these things.

I like donuts. It is yumme with some coffee in the morning.
