For no apparent reason my computer is now throwing many myLot discussions in my spam folder. I have no clue what happened. Just noticed it this morning so don't know how many discussions I have missed lately. Aol is my internet service provider and I haven't changed anything. Any suggestions how I can prevent this from happening again? Thanks in advance for any help offered.

Hello dear carolbee. It happens to me as well that some of mylot discussions go to my trash mail box, but what is lucky is that only a few of them go to that section. Then I always read them first to see if there are some discussions that I can relate to before deleting them. I think that sometimes the emails cannot recognize what are spams that cause it to happen. Good luck to you, friend.

Nice to hear from you, williamjisir. I only noticed it happening once but never really looked in the past so hope I didn't delete lots of discussions by accident. Thanks for responding.

just add mylot email address in your mail's address book and all will be available in your inbox. it only happens when the main mail id not added in your address book.

It was in the "white" list on my aol account but will be sure to add it again if it's not there. Thanks for responding.

I don't know what is going on, carolbee, but my computer has been acting quirky also. I am getting "No Connection " messages when I am clearly connected. I am troubleshooting the problem right now and saw your post so I decided to respond to find out if anyone else is having problems.

Mine also will show that I am not online when in fact I am. This has been normal for my daily activities for awhile. Thanks for responding.

Just wanted to let you know, carolbee, that I quickly went and downloaded a trial version of Malware Bytes and had it scan my computer. I had picked up a Trojan plus 3 other pieces of malware, which it removed from my computer, and now it's running good again.

I also use aol and after reading this I checked my spam folder and had 5 items there that are not spam. I have not changed any settings either. Sorry I can not help you with this problem.

As a rule I delete everything in the spam folder. I noticed about 10 email notifications this morning from myLot members. I didn't change anything either and don't know how they got there. Guess I need to pay close attention for awhile. Thanks for responding.

I normally delete spam also but I do check first and see who it is from. I hardly ever get spam so when I do it is unusual and especially when I see several there.

I get the digest fine each day in my regular email but the discussions were listed in the spam file. Crazy! Thanks for responding.

hello carolbee i have AT&T for my home internet connection and sometimes i will have a Mylot discussion up under my spam folder as well. it doesn't happen often, but sometimes, i do not know why, i still as well get the Mylot discussions in the junk folder. lol i guess that we could contact our internet service provider and ask them why that we get e-mails in the wrong folder for? right? lol take care and have a beautiful day today!

Hi Tnm good to hear from you. I will be changing to AT&T in a couple of weeks using their new u-verse system. Hopefully that will solve many of the problems I have on this computer. It all moves so slow. It hasn't happened again with the email notifications since I posted this discussion. Maybe I scared it! lol Thanks for responding.
