Does anyone have the Five Finger shoes by Vibram? How do you like them? If you've never heard them, I'd recommend doing a Google search and checking these things out! It is supposed to be like walking/running barefoot. I want to get some. I have a lot of problems with muscle spasms in my feet. I also have bad knees that run in the family, so I don't jog at all. But I hear with these shoes you don't get those type of problems and I would love to take advantage of the beautiful trails nearby. If you have some, which model do you have? I like their classic, but I'm not sure how it would stay on without that strap? Normally I can't keep shoes on that are that shape, but I understand these are a different material. I also noticed that their list of stores that carry the shoes is incomplete, because REI isn't listed and they have the shoes. Where did you buy yours? None of these places are close to me, but I wouldn't mind driving to get these if they are really as great as people say. So if you have experience with these, I'd love to here it! And if not, I'd love to hear your reaction to these. They certainly look weird, but I figure me jogging will be a funny sight either way, lol.

I have never heard of them. I wonder what do they look like? How much are they? What colors do they come in?

You know the socks that have little individual toes? Think of those as a shoe and that's what the Vibram Five Fingers look like. They're fairly expensive, around $70-$90. But they're supposed to last pretty long. They come in several colors from bright colors to neutrals, and I think four different styles.

I finally got some! I ended up getting the kind that cover the foot (the KSO) because the originals just didn't fit me right. Turns out REI only says on their website that they carry these, but then in the store they don't. So I had to drive over an hour to get some of these awesome shoes. So far they seem to be a great conversation starter. I haven't run in them enough yet to decide if I really like them for running. But I'm going to keep trying!
