A house with amazing facilities

I often look at a newspaper's property for sale listings. I live in a two bedroom terraced house and I hope to live in a three bedroom bungalow in the future. That is because my toddler son is disabled and he can't walk. I have been told he needs a downstairs bedroom and bathroom. I came across the listing of a semi detached village house that has three bedrooms. The back garden has an outdoor swimming pool and a summer house with a jacuzzi in it. It overlooks fields. Wow! It is not suitable for me but how I wish it was. What sort of facilities would impress you if you were thinking of buying a new home? If you had a swimming pool and a jacuzzi do you think you would use them much?

If I had a house with a swimming pool and a jacuzzi you would never see me here on myLot. I would be outside swimming or soaking in the jacuzzi. I love to swim, but I never have a chance to go.

Excellent! But we would miss you on My Lot I think. People would ask where is Lilybug and the answer would be in her swimming pool or she might be in her jacuzzi. I hope that you will get the chance to go swimming. If I had a swimming pool it would be heated to a tropical temperature.

Best of luch max, hope you can find something. It is a buyer's market, so look carefully, and be patient, and you will succeed. As far as facilities, I think you should weigh everything up carefully before deciding. A swimming pool is nice, but what percentage of the year will it be used. I always like a nice outdoor barbeque and living area. A jacuzzi is nice, but is it more suitable indoors or outdoors. Something else you need to consider.

I always look for single levels (I don't like stairs), no basements or cellars (don't like them either), large closets, big bathrooms and lots of space in the kitchen. Our apartment now has everything I want and don't want except the space in the kitchen and a big bathroom. I'd definately use the swimming pool but not the jacuzzi...I've heard they aren't good for ppl with high blood pressure. ~~AT PEACE WITHIN~~ **STANDING STRONG IN MY BELIEFS**

I'm not sure what would impress me, as I don't like big houses (too much cleaning), but the thing I'd really love would be to have a balcony which looked out over the ocean. My daughter lives on a marina and has her own little wharf - I'd love that. We have a pool, which my husband built 30 years ago - but it didn't really get much use until two years ago when we had it heated.

well i have been living in a 3 bedroom bungalow all through out my life , it was my dads house , im now in college and i think that when u have a family u should not live in a large home , becaz when u do so then the family members go far away from u . its like u r living under the same roof but there is no affection between the members of house . every one lies in their own room , and if someone is angry with u u dont even come to no about his feelings . so my suggestions would be that u should always have a house that should be satisfactory , but shouldn't be over satisfactoring .

It is great that you live in a three bedroom bungalow. I know what you mean about a family that live in a large house and rarely all sit down together. I really like your suggestion that a home should be satisfactory. Thanks for your wonderful response.

I'm not overly worried about a swimming pool or jacuzzi, but I would love a detached, old house in the countryside with a couple of acres of land, woodland, an orchard and a pond in it, or a stream flowing along the bottom of it. I love being at one with nature, and being as self-sufficient as possible. Brightest Blessings my friend and good luck with your home hunting.

Well it sounds suitable! I guess the problem is that this bungalow would just cost too much to buy. Are there other things unsuitable about the property? Location is usually a big factor in buying residential accommodation. Is it close to friends, does it have good transport links, good schools in the area... Sounds good in that the bungalow overlooks fields. Good luck in your search.

I would love a garden big enough to have a good size veg plot .. Swimming pools and Jacuzzi sounds great, but I would not fancy or afford the upkeep ... still DREAM ON *
