Here is a shot of some of my seedlings sprouting up this week. These are sunflowers. I also have sweet corn, cukes, wildflowers, and a tomato that have sprouted up. They thrive on the heat and sunshine from their Southern window pane they sit in/on. Are you planting seedlings this spring? Are they sprouting yet if you have? HAPPY POSTINGS FROM GRANDPA BOB!!~

No, not planting anything from seeds. Everything is sure getting green around here though except for our yards unless you spend a fortune on water to keep it green but I would rather have a brown yard and save the water for other needs since we are so behind on rain here.

My wife whines about our water bill. I am the type that loves a lush green lawn and garden beds and flower beds as well. I water almost every day here so it does get costly. But the vision is worth it to me anyhow. HAPPY POSTINGS FROM GRANDPA BOB!!~

Oh I love them too but I also think unless something drastic happens soon we will be on ration with our water. Something like that would not be good at all for you with all your things that grow. My son has put out the water sprinkler a few times recently and I dread that bill when it comes in, just normal use it costs us about 75.00.

I have not planted anything. I am not sure if I am going to or not. Your stuff sure seems to be coming along nicely. I am sure you will get a ton of stuff this year like you did last year.

I took the stuff out today to plant my seeds. I had to take my main computer into the computer doctor to get it reloaded so I can't do what is my main work, writing articles. Since it won't be back till Monday or Tuesday the house will get clean and the weeds will get pulled, the seeds will be planted and I'll catch up on everything! There's a a silver lining to every cloud, I guess!

Hey Grandpa Bob! Wow! I love sunflowers! When I was a kid we had them in our backyard! I used to love to get the seeds from them! We had tomato plants and cukes and I can't remember what else because I was a little kid then! But I loved our garden! I so miss having a garden! It is really getting to me hearing about everyones gardens already this year because I can't have one where I live! I am so miserable and wish I lived in a private house too!

They really are coming on well aren't they AGB? I remember when my Grandad was still alive and there were always tonnes of seedlings in there at this time of year, the heating bills were quite hight mind you as it is still far too cool for the seedlings, I used to love seeing the seedlings sprout and grow - pretty amazing stuff! xxxx

Hello Grandpa Bob. It is true indeed that the plants love the sunshine during the early growth to make them grow better and faster. I wish all of your plants grow well with your harvesting them later on like you always used to with good luck. Good day, Bob.

Yes my roommate planted seedling and no they have not come up yet. I now have to make sure there in the sun. I told him your garden and I will help buy the seeds and soil. Oh no I get to make sure they have all the light they need and water. Oh well maybe next year. I won't have to do the work. LOL. you have a good day.
