Hi friends, As we all know that IPL is going to start from this weekend. It’s a mega event and billions of rupees are invested in this tournament. Players from all cricket playing nations are going to participate and being a 20-20 tournament its going to be an exciting 2 months for sure. I travel a lot in all over India and what I have noticed that in almost every department we need some kind of development. Right from infrastructure, education, dignity of labor and so on. IPL was moved from India due to security reasons and that shows that how secured a common man is in India. What i really wonder is this Team owners are buying foreign players for billions of rupees while they don’t care about the people of their own nation. I know its not their job to develop a nation but we really cant expect much from our corrupt government. I firmly believe it has to come from corporate section of India. It seems that we are giving more importance to entertainment than basic amenities. My nature of job is such that I get to meet a lot of people, people from very high section of society and also the people who live absolutely hand to mouth. I feel very sad when I c people struggling to get proper shelter, enough food or cloth and then people who spends lacs in one night in my country. If I get the power in my hand I would really stop this tournament and make efforts to develop basic amenities in my country with all these money. What do u all think? Don’t u all find this whole IPL thing unfair? Cheers, Tutul

IPL does give an opportunity to those players who doesn't stand a chance in making it to the Indian cricket team, it's opportunity to bring in new talent. By stopping this tournament doesn't make a way to development of the society, rather than I would say try and make the profit of IPL in to development of the society, in that way entertainment and development can go hand in hand ...

The good thing about IPL is that it creates lots of opportunities to the people. I think IPL like games should be there to create opportunities to the domestic players and also people other professions related to cricket. I think the players should not be paid such high amount of money. I think it would be nice to give opportunities. Those rich people would not give money to anything to people who are poor. I think when the rich people provide money to the players these money will be rotated through the food, transportation, hotels, shopping, etc, which the money will be rotated to people in different occupation and changing the standard of living of the people.
