I'm a SAHM and while the day is long, I often feel that I have not accomplished enough. I'm still looking for a schedule that will work for me, but it should include all the chores, earning online, spending time with my daughter, and some me time, lol... Would you share your own schedule to inspire me?

I am in the same situation as you are. I have been a stay at home mom for a few years now and I have the things I need to get done within the day but trying to find the right times and the right amount of time for it all gets hard. I have about 5 hours to myself to try and get things done...I normally just end up cleaning the house and then jumping online during those hours before my husband and kids get home that way I will have the time to spend with them. Then after the kids go to bed I will jump back online for a few hours until it is my bed time.
I have found it easier to pick one day where I will do my "major" cleaning~ things like toilets, mopping, dusting etc. Then throughout the rest of the week I will just do a quick run through cleaning..it makes it a lot more easier for me that way i am not spending everyday and all of my free time cleaning. It allows me to have a few days where I can do my own thing :) Which is always a bonus...
Then once my husband and kids get home I can help them with their homework and spend some time playing and then get dinner ready. We split almost all of the things we do..every other day we will take the kids to school that way the other can get a chance for some extra sleep..and then we do baths every other night with the kids unless they are really dirty that way our nights aren't so packed.
I am not sure of all the things that you have to do or how much you take on in your day but you need to just sit down and maybe write down all the things you do and then just sort them into certain times and just stick to it. Good Luck!!!

Hey, that's a really good idea, having just one day to do all the major cleaning. I'll try that and see if it's gonna work for me. I usually spend some time online in the am before my husband and my daughter wake up, sometimes that's as long as 3 hours. My daughter usually naps in the afternoon around 2 hours. I just really have to discipline myself not to go online or watch TV on this day. Thanks. :)

Depending on the size of your house it probably won't take the long. Mine is a three bedroom about 1600 square feet and it usually take about an hour or an hour an a half depending on if and how many breaks I take. I usually get started about 10 am and am done before noon so then it allows me to grab lunch and then gives me about three hours to jump online and do what I want before the kids come home. When I pick up throughout the week I just wipe down real quick, make beds, sweep and run the vacuum real quick it allows it to where when I do do my big cleaning it is not as much.
Hope you are able to find the time and a great schedule comes along...it will be much easier once your baby starts school!!!
**Thanks for the BR**

i am in the same boat as you i have 4 children so its kinda hard for me to stick to a schedule because things are always changing so i know the feeling i dave a to do list but half the times the things on it dont get done because there is to much for me to do or as i am cleaning they are behide me messing it up , so it drives me crazy, so you are not alone in this.
