We have been so lucky, every family member that needs to be working has been, but reality has struck. Grandson lost his job due to lay off and so has had to join the navy to provide for his family. His family is moving back home with Mom who lives on the ranch with us. I don't know how long this will last that Mom and Daughter don't get along to well. It's going to be a stressful time for them and there is a 3 year old child involved. This ranch is not set up for very young children, we are by a creek and have ponds on the place, this child is going to have to be watched very closely. It's going to be an interesting Summer. How is your family doing?

Hi savypat, I can only hope that things will work out well for your grandson and his family. It is never easy having to move in with family and I especially hope the children will be safe. Blessings.

I am sure that everyone will come out of this and look back and be able to say we learned a lot about ourselves going through that. Isn't that what life is all about?

Hi pat~I feel bad for what your family is going to have to go through. I am sorry that your Grandson has to join the Navy and that he has to move his family in with you. But, at least you are a loving and caring family. He could do alot worse and be in a worse position. Some people have nowhere to go. So I am sure that you will all work it out somehow. There is an awful lot of that going on these days with the world the way it is.

We will see how he does, he has a lot to learn and does not take orders well, as many young men are he is arrogant and the military is very hard on that attitude. I am sure he will grow a lot for this experience. But I admire him for doing this to support his family and gald the rest of us can help.

I don't envy what's ahead of you Pat. But kudos to the grandson to be willing to join the navy to take care of his family......... Mine's doing just fine. The hubs has a whole new attitude, the boys are doing well and the only complaint I have is that my dog has figured out how to sneak out of her dog run and I can't for the life of me figure out how she's doing it. lol
