i had bunk beds and was scared one day that would happen to me.. but nope i never had a problem lol..
have you ever had a bunk bed mishap or injury?? have you avoided getting your kids bunk beds because your worried they may fall or etc??

My kids had bunk beds when they were little and there were a few mishaps! LOL..nothing serious mostly from horsing around! We just bought a camper and it has bunk beds....my little granddaughter is taking the top one so I hope it works out all right...I get the lower one! LOL

We didn't have bunk beds at home, but we often had bunk beds when we went on holiday and I hated them. I usually had to go on the top bunk as I was the oldest, but I didn't much like heights, and also when you're on the top, the bottom person can kick you from below! 
I remember not sleeping very much on those occasions...

Hmm, I suppose there are some advantages to being at the top then! Or at least some disadvantages on both the top and the bottom. I don't like the things.

i liked the top bunk since i felt safe and away from everything.. but i was always afraid i would fall off lol
