Cheesy, corny love...

One of the young people whom I mentor told me before that it's ok
with them to see me married but that I shouldn't show any PDA. I was laughing by the end of such comment. When I asked them why not, they told me that it seems to cheesy and that they cannot take it if I do that. As if I will. Anyway, was there something that you did in the past or at present which may be considered as cheesy, corny, humiliating,
embarrassing and mortifying thing that you have done for love. Do share.

Well mine isn't really about being corny or humiliating but it's about me refusing to participate in a little PDA as requested by my former girlfriend. We were in a public transportation and i was accompanying her on her her way home so she'll be safe. She made a kissing gesture and her lips were already pouting ready to be kissed, i shy shy away and told her not to kiss in public. She got upset and i think it kind of embedded on her mind and she keeps bring the incident up everytime we argue about something. I think i totally disappointed her. So next time, try to do PDA whenever you have the chance. lol!

Consider me a prude
but I am not really that comfortable with PDA. Of course, I'd see a lot of couples young and old doing it. Well, it's their choice. I'd just imagine myself in a situation like what you described and I'd be in fits of laughter.
I'd look ludicrous and for sure the people who know me would go, "YUCK!"
