The return of Cane!

Now that Cane has dropped his attempt to gain custody of Cordelia, do you find yourself liking him again? As much as I loathed his overbearing self-righteous routine, I have to say I'm glad to have the old Cane back and things do seem to be looking up for him despite his losing a job and turning down another. Having him take over the bar is a great move I think -- that place could become where all Genoa City residents go to share their secrets. Billy will undoubtedly flip when he finds out his favorite haunt is now owned by his #1 rival.

Since I never cared much for Cane anyway, his dropping the custody case only helps a very small amount. He never was a good business man, he hired Roger afterall, so going back to the bar is good except that he should just be a bartender and not the owner.

Well, I can understand him buying the bar because he must have made some pretty good money as CEO...it would have been a real step down for him to just go back to being a regular bartender. I agree with you that he didn't seem like all that good a businessman while he was in charge of Jabot; neither did Billy, for that matter. I still think Adam has the most potential to succeed in the business world, but I have some hope for Colleen as well, especially if she stops doing whatever Uncle Jack says.
