Write The Way You Live

Bad Writers Under Tutorial from the Author of Life - My bible study group crowding my small house. We study the bible on how to write good life stories to be published in real life. The articles we write get indexed in the Book of Life.

My writing principle has always been that, I must write the way I live, and live the way I write. Writing is a life. It's not just a hobby or profession. And in a very real sense, we're all writers. Unfortunately, all of us are bad writers---or at least, all of us started as one. And I'm not referring to writing articles or blogs, or posting on forums, or even in diaries. I mean writing our lives on the Book of Life. Daily we write journals on the Book. That Book is read by people around us, by our families and friends, and especially by God. And most times, we're not aware that we are writers publishing our works daily and that we are widely read, even by angels and demons. Oh, yes, they're just around us, watching. And because we don't realize how big our readership is, we simple go on writing badly, never trying to improve our writing styles, grammars, word usage, vocabulary, and hand-writing. We like to mar our book covers with blots and splashes of dirty white or plain deep black. Sometimes, even black black, if there's such a thing. And we put pictures and illustrations that violate decency and good taste. Now, this kind of book is read daily by our kids. And it affects the way they write, too. That's why a generation of bad writers always pops up each decade. In this big library, which is the world, we seldom find good books to read. We stock it up persistently with literature so badly written. Some even written by talented and world-renowned writers, yet nonetheless, bad writers. I've been a bad writer, too. But I discovered that bad writing still can be changed! There's still hope for bad writers like me and you. All we have to do is junk our writing styles and be tutored for life by the Author of Life. Then we begin to write really good stuff! The Author is willing to give us all, regardless of creed or religion (or writing persuasion), a whole clean sheet of paper to re-write our lives all over again, all past mistakes and bad writing habits totally forgiven and forgotten. The condition is that, we totally forsake our bad writing and start being coached by Him in good writing for life. It's a perfect deal. Don't you think?

Wow. You make some very good points. Points that should make us all think about how we are "writing" our lives before people and God each day. He is the best "writing coach" there could ever be. A scripture of interest on this topic is Psalm 139:16, " Your eyes have seen my unformed substance; and in Your book were all written te days that were ordained for me, when as yet there was not one of them." Pretty interesting perspective on writing, huh?

I rather read books written by good people with bad grammars, word usage, vocabulary and whatever other faults. As long as their hearts are clean and pure, the messages are beautiful and uplifting. Holy books are not written by professional writers, they were written by common people with clean and pure hearts, who loved God deeply and wanted to be as perfect as possible.
