I have never heard of it and I don't think it will be bad for health unless you can't really sleep well with light on even dim orange light affect you sleep then it will be bad for your health.

I have no idea. I will be looking into this thow. I dont use orange lighting. I use soft lighting and those new energy efficiant ones. I dont believe that really thow. Where did your family hear this? And is it a creditable resource? Some people just like to add their opinions without really knowing the story behind what they hear.

I do not see how the color orange is going to hurt you. The only light that is bad for you is fluorescent light and too much sunlight. Shalom~Adoniah

I have never heard that orange light is bad for health or the skin, not too sure how true it is. However, if you need the light throughout the night, there are white lights with low watts available, which you can use as a substitute for the orange light. White lights in low watts are also dim. It will not disturb your sleep, but it is bright enough for your daughter to see her way to the washroom in the middle of the night.

I've never heard of this light, but if it is actually an orange light I don't think I would want to use it. Why not use just a regular 10 watt for late night visits to another room?
