Outlook Adress Book - An image of an Outlook Adress Book

Had to go get the old computer out of the storage cabinet and get into my email account so that I could find an address of someone. Since I did that I figured I may as well get ALL the addresses and put them into a word file saved to an external drive so that I could add everyone to the new computer. That's a lot of work I have to admit that there were addresses and people in there that I didn't even begin to recognize. I suppose that's because Outlook saves every address that you replied to. But, I saved them just the same. Maybe I'll figure out who they are and maybe they will just sit in the address book taking up space for no reason. Have you looked at your email address book lately? Do you know everyone that's in there and why they are there?

I know the majority of the people in my address book...haven't used outlook in ages as I use my hotmail account so I need to look up a few addresses to add to my hotmail.

I had a hotmail account once, but I gave it up the same day I opened it and used Netscape mail instead. Now I use Outlook Express for my normal mail and Yahoo for Groups and spam and such

I always have my hotmail for my paid sites...I'm on pre-paid broadband so hotmail is the only account I use at the moment...I do have a gmail account too but that's basically for my ebay & nothing else.

It's nice to have separate mailboxes for certain things.

I miss the purple ones. And just for the record I haven't checked my email in months SO I am VERY afraid. I am not sure I could remember everyone in my address book since it is hard for me to remember even MY email address lol.

Hi fwidman, I have to sort my address book out, there are people etc there that do not need to be, it is just getting round to it as there just isn't enough time when I get the computer to do it as there are other sites I go on as well, guess it will get done but it does take space up that isn't needed....LoLo

I'm sure your email address book is small, since you don't really email many people

Hi Fwid...my computer puts every address in the memory. those i've received from or sent to. they're not all in the address book though. there's one address i wish i could get out of the memory cause it's useless. for months i kept getting an error from the mail delivery system. often a few times a day even and it was a pain. it finally stopped. (you look very uncomfortable in those shoes. better take them off.)

I think I know most of the people on my Address book. Some of the email are addresses of companies in the internet. Yes, there are some e-mails that I wondered how it got there but I remembered that some of it belongs to online friends that I communicated with for a short period of time.

I used to keep all my contacts inside my computer too. Then it crash and all of the contacts are gone and I don't even have backups I take them to the computer shop to see if they can do anything about it but they said they can only format it *double tears* I learn my lesson well.
