In the states, we have our own holidays. We might gather together with our own friends to celebrate those holidays. Since we have so many cultures in this country, there are also other holidays we may not known of. These holidays maybe only celebrated in other countries. Such as Cinco de Mayo of Mexico; Chinese New Year; Japanese Spring Blossom's day; etc........ Would you celebrate other countries holidays too?

When the U.S. bases were still here in my country... some people here used to celebrate July 4 with them... and then the government turned it into an offcial holiday as American Filipino Friendship day... but nowadays no one pays attention to that day...

I will celebrate the Christmas festival most of the time. This is the festival that is widely accepted in my country. For other festival, we usually do not celebrate. When I get time, I may celebrate them. However, many people do not like celebrating the festival in other countries. However, the foreign festivals are more widely accepted now.
