I Like the site because it is fun. It is a great way to spend some time if we have it to spare and make a little extra cash in the meantime, right?
What do you think of pick jack anyway?
Go ahead and vent or give kudos.
If you are wondering what pick jack is and how to join, visit my profile.
Top right is the link.
Oh they pay alright.
The point of my discussion is to vent.
This is the issue:
I don't have a problem with the site, it's workings or anyone there.
The problem I am foreseeing is this:
I get paid every few days. Heck, I don't even have to work it everyday and I still get paid so it is obviously a source of Residual Income. My Favorite :D
What I see is that I am getting heeps of payments, which I like, of course but come tax time at the end of this year I am going to have to use a reem of two of paper to just print off all of the payments to show receipt of payment in case the tax company wants them. I am going to need a box just for all that paper. Which I dislike. Paper that is.
I wrote to Pick Jack and asked them if it is possible to set a payout amount instead of cents here and there. No response. I am disappointed but hopeful that they will incorporate this ability so I can set my payout at say $100.
That way, at the end of the year I will only have, hopefully half a box of paper instead.
What are your thoughts on this? How are you planning to deal with pick jack payments at the end of the year come tax time? I am stumped.
I have been thinking, for what it is worth, I may just have to cancel my membership there so to avoid what I foresee as a huge inconvenience.
It is going to take a couple hours, at the least to print out all those receipts loading up in my PayPal.
Love you opinion and input. Thanks.

I've joined this site several weeks before and did get my paymenet each time. However, you do need spend a lot time working on this.By the way,it seems that no one know the detailed machnism of this site and still mysterious to its members.
Anyway,it is not bad choice if you do have spare time.Good luck!

I agree that it is not a bad choice if you have time. The key to any website like that is of course, your referrals, which help a lot.
The point of this discussion was the idea to have the option at Pick Jack to set your pay out limit higher than the cents they send, which is nice but I would rather wait until my account is built up to a rather significant amount before I cash out. That way I have way less paper at the end of the tax year, to keep copies of for tax purposes.
Thank you for your response.

Are you adding all your internet earnings together? If not you could just wait until you get a 1099 from pick jack showing what they reported to the IRS and use that figure. If you are going to add them all together why not use an accounting program like quicken and just make a entry each time they have paid pay pal. I don't know how many reports Pay PAL will keep on record for you but wouldn't that work also at the end of the year just add the entries on Pay Pal that came from Pick Jack. This could cut down on your paper work. I like Pick Jack but it gets boring fast for me.

Hi savypat, thank you for your input. I don't get a 1099 from Pick Jack because I am Canadian.
Using quicken is a good idea but I think that I need an actual receipt, not just the amounts, should the tax company ever ask for it. See what I mean?
I like pickjack too but yes it gets tiresome quick. I am tired of all the small deposits myself.
PayPal keeps all history, which is very handy.

I have heard of this site but I have never tried them out before. I am just too busy with all of my other paying sites right now.
