Do you rate the discussion?

A lot of people respond to a discussion and then they are finished with you. How many of us actually rate the discussion? And if we do, do we in any case give a positive rating, or you weigh the content and decide on the negetive or positive rating. In such a situation what criterias do you use.

I rate some responses. After reading your discussion, I will weigh the content and give a rating to the responses. Good discussion!

I rate every discussion I read weather or not I responded to it or not I have never given a negative rating. Just for the fact that at least they made some what of an effort.

That is such a good thought. Though I marked most of the discussions I responded to, I never thought of marking the ones I read. It is such a good action and thought. Keep it up dear. Yes we should appreciate the effort taken by every person who starts a discussion or responds.
