Do they hide the scale from the contestants?

Do you think they hide the scale from the contestants? This would avoid the anxiety of watching the weight loss. I'm sure there are people who've been on the show who would be checking their weight almost every day. I think I would be doing that if I were on that show.

Like I said, it's probably an anxiety thing. IT would be too nerve wracking.

I would say for ones mind and spirit that it would probably be best to hide the scale. The scale can be a vicious tool it either shows progress or it shows the opposite which then could either encourage or discourage a person.

A watched scale doesn't change. You have to just let it go and focus on having a healthy lifestyle choices.

Interesting question. I do think they don't allow the contestants access to a scale before the official weigh in. There probably is no scale in the ranch except for the one they use on the show. I agree, it will be nerve wracking indeed!
