Tasers; should they be banned or not?

I hear more and more stories about people dying or getting seriously injured from attacks with taser guns by police officers. Do you believe the taser guns should be banned? Why?

Well arent they banned from the public I thought regular people couldnt have tasers wich I dont think its fair for police to have tasers and not regular people. I say if police should have tasers then regular people should have them to. But its usally the police fault they should only use them when they must and have no choice.
