Have you seen Choke? It's a black comedy based on a novel by Chuck Palahniuk.

I liked it but I expected a little more (blame Fight Club). Sam Rockwell was awesome.
How did you like it?
btw should I read a book if I've seen the movie?

I read the book, and it was absoluetly awesome. I read some of his other books, too and Chuck Palahniuk is now my favorite author.
I haven't seen the movie yet, though. I'm a little hesitant; I don't want to ruin my perception of the book.

I like his books too but I haven't read Choke. You should watch the movie, it's pretty good.
