My husband crushed his ankle several years ago, the doctors put in back together with metal plates and screws. He can always tell when we are going to get rain, or even just a damp gloomy day. He gets pain in his ankle, and it stiffens up on him, he limps for a few days, until the weather drys up.

Mine do. I have a prearthritic degenerative condition that has caused me a good deal of pain over the last decade, and I've noticed in more recent years that damp, raw weather can make the pain worse. I suppose it doesn't help that I've had several surgeries and have metal in my joints now, too. It's especially bad when the weather is bleak for a few days or more.

I have had Juvenile Rheumatoid Arthritis for over 20 years. When i was first diagnosed I would keep track of the weather and the barometric pressure but i found that for me the weather didn't make any difference. When it was acting up it was warm cool and any other kind of weather. so for me the weather makes no difference.

I can often tell when the weather is going to change because my knees start to hurt more than usual. The other day it was bright and sunny and warm, but my knees were hurting so I knew that it was going to rain the next day. Turned out I was right- the weather did turn really nasty and cold and it rained all day.

Today it rained very hard and my
back and stomach hurt at the same time.
So I'm guessing that had something to do
with spinal pain.
I had several bad falls at our other house
and have bad aches in my back when it rains.

Yes, it hurts sometimes. I have disc problem, and it does flare up when it rains. My mom has arthritis, and it's worse when it rains.

My joints used to hurt when it was raining. Now they hurt with or ithout rain. The doctor sent me to have some parafin baths for my hands. It helps a bit (it´s just a nice warmth). But they don´t have anything for knees. Sometimes I daydream of a warm (almost hot) jacuzzi and me immersed in that water all day long
