I don’t usually eat a lot of sweets. I will skip dessert to eat the main course almost every time! Its not that I don’t like sweets, I just don’t usually care if I eat them or not. But there is one combination that is always difficult for me to pass up. Chocolate Raspberry. I am a huge fan of raspberry in general and it just pairs so well with chocolate!
When I was flipping through a cookbook, I saw the recipe and started drooling over the title! I almost just flipped the page to try to forget about them, but I had to read the ingredients! I was shocked to see that the recipe was actually somewhat healthy! Well, as healthy as sweets can be. There was some all-purpose flour, but there was also some whole wheat flour. Whole grains? Sweet! I think the thing that shocked me the most, though, was that they aren’t sweetened with sugar! The recipe called for unsweetened cocoa powder. There was apple raspberry frozen concentrate for the sweetener! So there is still sugar in them, but it is natural sugar and not the refined sugar most sweets have. I had to try this recipe!
Right now, they are cooling on the kitchen counter. I cant wait to try them!
What dessert is the one thing you can’t pass up? Do you look for healthier alternatives in your sweets?

The chocolate raspberry bars seem delicious. As for me, anything sweet to cap my meal is okay. If it's fruit, probably ripe mangoes. Or if I want chocolates, I'd have a small piece of dark chocolate. A slice of cake would also be nice. I guess I should be looking for healthy alternatives, but when it comes to sweets, I just have whatever I want and what is available in the fridge.
