why is it hard to think what to cook for everyday & for every meal? waaaaaaaa, i like cooking but sometimes i don't know, i find it hard to think of a meal... maybe because i just have limited ideas on what to cook...don't know... any suggestions? or you also fall in the same situation like me?! :-( good day!

There are a couple of solutions that can make this easier! *Meal planning. Sit down once a week to plan your meals for the whole week. That way each day, you know exactly what you are making. You know what meat you need to get out of the freezer. You know how long it will take. It eliminates one more stress from your day! Of course, for meal planning, you still have to come up with some ideas! There are a couple of things I like to do to help with this. *Have a calendar of your meals. Get a normal calendar and write down your plans for each meal. That way you can easily remember if you just had something, and dont want it again. You can look back over the last couple of weeks or months for ideas. On that calendar, you can also leave yourself notes. "Johnny loved it!" "Great for a quick meal" "Took longer to cook than recipe said" "Makes great lefovers!" That way if you have a meeting in the evening and the kids have soccer practice, you know if it is a good meal to cook that night. *Keep a recipe book. I use a photo album for my recipe book. (You can see more about it here. http://www.mylot.com/w/discussions/2007477.aspx) Whenever I need some inspiration for a dinner, I flip through the book. Once I find a recipe that sounds good, I write it down. I pull out that recipe and put it will my menu for the week. That way it is easily at hand when I need to cook. *Make a list of all of your favorite meals. You can organize it however you want. Quick and Easy. Chicken. Vegetarian. Crock Pot. Grill. This will be another easy reference for when you need ideas. If you have chicken out but dont know what to do with it, you can just check your list of 'chicken' to give you some ideas. Good luck!
