long story but a local living history museum that represents 1860's has been moderanized this year with tv's instead of live interpreters and popcorn stands. i'm an assistant curator at another museum and a former interpreter at the living history museum and i'm horrified of the changes and intergrity of the museum so i've been protesting and fighting the changes. they are now getting scared and have revoked some of their changes. i'm so happy. i really can make a difference. now if i can get the 39 people hired back instead of having tv's talking for them.

When I was a little girlI loved going to our local museum, it was so scary with its glass cabinets and the smell of the place was so scary too, it has so much history and atmosphere, then in comes a stupid politician who builds a new one, was going to pull down a beautiful heritage building to build his new museum but the people protested so he built this montrosity next door to ir, it looks like big building blocks all staxked on top of each other all uneven and painted bright colours, its awful and parts are all floor to ceiling glass, the rooms inside are huge with so much light, gone is the scariness, gone is the smell, and they hardly have anything on show, I think you are wonderful for fighting for this these people who makes these changes just don't realize what they are doing...good on you I say.
