This is a shot of one of my zuchinnis. They are doing great and getting large. Won't be but a month and a half and I'll be eating fried and or boiled zuchinni. How do you like to eat zuchinni? I slice mine into 1/4 thick slices and bread them then deep fry them in a pan with a small layer of olive oil. Yummm!

That looks fantastic! I cant wait until more of my plants start coming up! I planted my zuchinni a bit late this year, but it shouldnt be a problem. It just means that they will be ready a bit later!
I love to slice zuchinni and saute it with mushrooms. I also like to slice it into spears and grill it with some seasonings! Zuchinni bread has always been a favorite - especially with a couple of chocolate chips in it!
I recently read in a cookbook something I never would have thought of. They suggested shredding zuchinni and boiling it as a base instead of pasta or rice. I think that would be tasty and a great way to use the zuchinni when I get it! I always end up with a lot all at once!

I planted a lot this year.
More than last year.
I have a l;arge row of green onions and radishes and dill poppimng up as well as about 60 corn stalks poking up. I make bread sometimes as well. But most the zuchinni goes to my wifes restaraunt as they serve a lot of it.

That is awesome that your wife is able to use the fresh produce for her restaurant! I find that it is always the most tasty!

I absolutely love fried zucchini. I hate that is isn't healthy. So I do sometimes boil the zucchini. With the right seasoning it is still very tasty. Zuchinni has been a favorite of mine for quite a while. I remember over a decade ago when my grandparents grew tomatoes and zuchini in their backyard. It was so good! It may have been the zuchini itself, but I think the fact that it involved my grandparents helped a lot too. : )

I am gkad that your plants are doing well.
I didn't plant any zuchinni, but I do enjoy eating it once in a while. Like you, I like mine fried. I also enjoy a good zuchinni bread when I can get a hold of it. Last year, a lady sent home several loafs for me and my family, and we really enjoyed them.

Hi Grandpa Bob! I love fried zucchini also. I like to make a batter and dip the slices in the batter and then fry them in a little oil in a frying pan on the stove. I also enjoy ratatouille with many sliced and diced vegetables fried in oil with garlic, zucchini, eggplants, onions, bell peppers a little sugar and peeled tomatoes then leave it to simmer for 15 or 20 minutes. When it's done I sprinkle a little Parmesan cheese on top and serve it as a side dish or as a main dish with some nice bread and butter. And sometimes I just like uncooked zucchini chopped and put into salads or sliced and eaten as is. Zucchini is one of my favorite vegetables so anyway is fine really!
Good luck with your zucchinis and I am sure they are going to taste just great!

Wow! Fresh food from a garden! No wax or pesticides, sure wish I had a place to grow fresh vegetables. I like my zucchinis steamed, fried or even baked. The way you cook them is so very good but I have to avoid the bread and flour because of my diabetes.
And it's hard to not eat more than a few slices. I do sometimes have it fried without the coating and with a few onion slices. I do love my vegetables. Hope you get enough to share with family and friends. I know they will appreciate eating fresh zucchini.
Thanks for sharing

I love zucchini but last time I grew them they would start to fruit, then the fruit would die.
I love them in Italian dishes like lasagne and bolognese, I love them in a stir fry, they are great par boiled with a little butter and pepper to serve as a vegetable with mashed potato and I make an absolutely delicious and scrumptious zucchini slice...with bacon, onion, eggs and cheese.

Fried zucchini is the best! We would dip them in egg wash and then into bread crumbs before frying, same as you. Last night I got some at the bar where my daughter and I went to eat. They were battered, but a grainier batter than fish gets. They were really good, too. I like zucchini cooked in tomato sauce - especially chunky and added to spaghetti sauce. I also like them grilled. I've had zucchini bread, too, and it's pretty good, but I'm not a big fan of quick breads in general. You could even do zucchini parmesan - just cook it the same way you would cook eggplant parmesan.
