Broken Pinky Toe

Hi moneymommy, personally I have never broken a toe, but do know of people who have yet there is nothing youor the doctor can do about it, there are so many small bones in the toes that if you break one then only time will heal it. When it comes to any sort of broken bone it normally takes up to 6-8 wks to heal..just hope it isn't too painful for you...LoLo

It always seems like it takes forever to heal. But I think it's about 4 to 6 weeks. There is no pain like the pain in your foot, it makes your whole body ache. Blessings

I broke that one when a horse stepped on it - golly molly that hurt! I also broke the "index" toe by smashing it into either a door or the bed leg. I didn't realize it had been broken until later when I tried to do something and it had frozen into a "hammer toe." I had the former roommate "pop" it straight and taped it up for a few weeks. the good news about toes is they really don't take too long to heal - 2-4 weeks at the most

I used to practice Aikido several years ago and I managed to break my little toe then. I didn't get it strapped up at all, but it was allowed to heal naturally - perhaps it wasn't a very serious break, I don't know. I would say it took about a month before it stopped hurting and I could walk naturally again. - Derek

I have never had a doctor tell me that officially I have broken a toe before, but I am pretty sure I have broken my pinky toe on both of my feet before. I am a klutz and run into things all the time.

I've never broken a toe before so I imagine it hurts like the dickens! I've had ingrown toe nails when I was a kid and man did those hurt when they got infected. I hope it heals fast for ya so you can get back to being yourself!
