Referral link

I have been doing online earning for almost five years now. I realized that without referrals, the payout will be harder to reach. So, whenever I found a new earning sites, I started promoting my referral link. However, to my disappointment, some friends that I personally promoted my referral link didn't even become my referrals. The logical reason, in my opinion, was that they deliberately delete the referral ID and signed up for themselves. I call that a selfish act. They will not know those sites if not because of someone referred them. Honestly, in the future, I will just start earning myself without referring anyone anymore. It is not just worth it to tell someone of a legitimate site that pays and knowing that they did sign up but not through your referral link. It is slower to reach payout without referrals but it is satisfying to know that all my efforts pay off eventually without the help of referrals. Thanks for reading!

If that is the case it is better not to share with others something that you find worth sharing. I don't understand why some people are so ungrateful. Definitely it is good to have referrals if we want to earn faster online. The only option is to tell those we trust.

I would not jump to conclusion so fast. At times, it might not be that one deliberately deleted the referral link. It could also be true that people may deliberately remove the referral link. However, I tend to believe there is a reason for the action. I do not think they are selfish because after they join, they are also referrals of another, even if they join directly from the parent link. Perhaps the person might also have received a referral link for the same site from another friend?

I find getting referrals to really be difficult. I can usually depend on my sister to sign up for things, and sometimes my brother, but they are the only ones I can really rely on unless spouses are allowed to join, then I can get my husband. I meet someone on mylot who signed up on another site under me, that was nice. But that was a site where you just get a one time bonus.

I'm very sorry to hear this. What you referring to has happen to me as well. I have sent many people to Ciao! and I haven't got a single referral out of it. I felt that these wouldn't have known the site if I didn't refer them to it. I can see your point but I can also recommend a site where you can keep track if someone is in fact singing under you or not. I think this is the best and most effective way of getting referrals to your programs. If interested, just add me as a friend and I will give you the website link.

Hi Ellie, i can see and understand your point here. Ya, it's quite a sad case to know that someone has been referred and sign up to that site but not under you. We can say that it's selfish,ya, i can't think of any other reason for them to do like that. However, i'll just hope that you won't give up to share and promote your sites to your friends. Maybe you'll find a referral someday who is good and diligent enough, and you both will be benefit from that too. Good luck.

I agree totally!! I have done much better with complete strangers as referrals then people I know. What is that all about?? I have found making connections on blogging or forums have helped me out with my business. I have also used referral swap sites that have worked alright too. Have you tried any of the referral sites where you can buy or trade referrals? I work with several and they are legit. Makes money quicker to be in your pocket! Good luck to you and keep plugging away. It does work even though we all can get frustrated at times! :)

It was annoying.
Indeed ,if we have not many referrals,it would be very hard to reach the payout, for most of the sites,we have to take more than one month to get one dollar ,that is so frustrating.
So,if we want to make more money online ,we have to get the referrals.
But as you said ,there are so many selfish people, they know the site by our links, however, when they are ready to sign up,they always delete our referral ID,what's wrong with them?there is no any harm .
I think they should really be less selfish
