Scripture - John 18:28 - 31
Before Jesus had a chance to state His case before any judge, the Jews had already decided that He was guilty and must die. They did not even know excactly the complaint aganst Him was, but according to them, He deserved to die.
Today we are not much diferent from the Jews in casting judgement. We sometimes only listen to one side of the story and then decide that the person is guilty of whatever someone blamed him/her of. We are quick to read something in the media and then condemn a person on the facts of the media, whether true or false. Mostly we never hear the other side of the story and that person, who might be inocent, stays in our bad books forever.
Most of the time we hear something about someone, and it has nothing to do with us, but because of what we hear, we see that person in a bad light, never having something good to say about them anymore. We allow our emotions to control out thoughts and views of a person.
I do not have the right to judge any person, because I too have sin. To God alone belongs all judgement because only He is rightious in His judgement.
Let us gaurd our ears from gossip and keep a gaurd in front of our mouths, so we do not get judged by the same judgement that we are judging with. Let God decide who is right and who is wrong.
