Although science has failed to find perfect connection between caffeine and acne, but like diet, caffeine always can trigger your acne outbreak indirectly. Studies show that the facts is that when you take caffeine, the stress hormones in your body will spike up.
you may know that hormonl inbalance is the number one thing. Since hormonnal inblance could cause excessive sebum production and eventually acne. study shows that for those people who takes in caffeine at night they will have a hard time sleeping.
Lack of sleep will cause your body restoration process to be affected and in many other aspects will cause harmonal inbalance, so it is important to reduce our caffeine intake or take it not time at all, because ones health is very important.

Wow, I didn't know that! But that could explain why my acne's been acting up again and it usually doesn't at all. I've been drinking more caffeine lately because of college. Thank goodness it's over and now I can stop drinking it. Now the only thing I drink with caffeine in it is tea. :)

My acne has been acting up as well, but I don't think it is because the caffeine I drank. I have had a lot french fries lately and I think it is the reason of my acnes. I know sugar can cause acnes as well.

Always balance your caffeine intake with water, for every soda, coffee or tea you have a glass of water should follow, it'll balance out your body's response and help it restore itself quicker.
