I've tasted a few types of jerky during my life, and recently, I went with my mom to Fred's on Memorial Day and bought a bag of jerky for almost $5 dollars (which might be a bit too much), but I...LOVE...JERKY! So far, i've only tasted beef jerky, from Pemmican to Hulk Hogan's Slim Jim, and this is the one type of meat that's satisfying when there's nothing else to eat in the kitchen. The chewy-yet-tough texture, the flavors, the feel of it, and it barely has any carbs at all. I've recently looked up how to make jerky, and when I open the bag of jerky, I can even smell the flavor just before tasting it.
There's also business cards in the form of jerky! Edible, meaty business cards!

If you've had a taste of (insert meat here) jerky, how do you like your jerky to taste and feel?
Personally, I like hickory-smoked and teriyaki flavors. However, I don't like my jerky to be TOO spicy. The meat type I like to eat is thick strips I can peel off, and the toughness is in the borderline between chewy and tough while at the same time, savoring the flavor of the jerky as I chew and before swallowing. It's THAT good.

I can't eat beef, I am allergic, I know, weird allergy! But I stopped in this tiny little gas station on the way to Houston and they had the most amazing Turkey Jerky!!! Wish I could find it closer to me!

Yes, I like Jerky but I haven't had it for a long time. I like it little sweet, sticky and tendered.

My uncle makes a great beef jerkey. He seasons it with all sorts of great stuff. His best by far is his habenaro jerky. It is sweet and spicy all at the same time. I have bought stuff in the store but it never quite compares.
