When space exploration was in its infancy here on earth, we sent a rocket into space carrying a monkey. It was a test before we actually tried to send people into space. What do you think aliens would have thought of us had they opened up this rocket and found the monkey? Would they have thought we were all hairy and primitive? Would they have marvel that a creature this primitive could have designed and built a rocket and launched itself into space? Would they have thought of humans as cruel for strapping this poor creature into a rocket? I want to hear everyone's wildest speculation on this one. Have some fun.

If their alien technology can allow them to travel light years away, I'm sure they will figure it all out. At one time, they probably did the same thing.

I was really hoping to see a little imagination out of this discussion. Doesn't look like I'm going to get it though. I disagree with one statement here though. Why would they have done the same thing. The monkey was sent up to test everything without risking a human life. It is possible that an advanced intelligent life form might finding taking a less intelligent species without consent and putting them at risk instead of themselves abhorrent. There are intelligent humans who feel that way. A human volunteer would have faced the same risks voluntarily and it is possible we could have learned more from the experience. Intelligent life doesn't necessarily think the same way as you are I.

If aliens have greater technology than us, i think they can understand the reason of why it's a monkey inside the rocket. Or if they are curious with that, i think they will come to the earth to exploring our earth. I think they may comparing that rocket with their technology to estimating our civilization. Have a nice day and happy mylotting.

That's true but you're missing the fun part of this exercise.
