Scripture - John 19:17-36 The crusifiction of Jesus. When we read this Scripture about the cricifiction of Jesus, we find the words;'This happened that the Sciptures might be fulfilled...' When we study the Old Testament we find plenty of Scripture indicating the comming of the Messiah and that He would suffer fro all people, to ultimately rule as King of Kings. Unfortunately many of the Jews of that time did not believe the Scripture and that unbelieve still has an effect today in that many still don't believe. On the other side, thank be to God for those who did believe, and their believe still has an effect today in that many today believe because of what the believers of that time has left for us. Even if sometimes it is dificult to believe in the existence of God, the evidence is around us everyday. How much more do we want to see before we believe. God is evident in His creation, everything around us. If we are willing to stop for one second and try and comprehend the existence of a butterfly...we would stand in awe. What a mighty God we serve.
