Getting TP'ed stinks...

Well recently my sons friends came over and TP'ed our house late at night. I made my son go and clean it up because it was kind of his fault, and it was his friends. Now my house is a mess being covered in toilet paper. If only we could find a faster way to clean up toilet paper from trees.
I think being TP'ed is funny. It is a good way to do a little bit of harmless fun. But when it goes and rains and everything sticks to everything it is almost impossible to remove every single bit of it from the trees, sidewalk, and roof! Now I do not wish to get up on the roof to remove toilet paper. This time they took it too far. They got it everywhere! They got it stuck to the windows, and covered our sidewalk and put shaving cream on our car. Now I know they did not mean to do anything so terrible as the shaving cream. The shaving cream remove all of the paint from that area. Now we have a paint-less car and are complaining to their parents. If only we weren't so nice. Apparently their sibling took them, so their parents had no idea about this. Now we do not wish to press charges because we are nice people and do not want to make a big deal out of all of what their sibling did. I do not wish for people to waste money because of their children. So no charges were pressed.
I just want to know your views on TPing, not about the shaving cream or egging. It is not fair when there parents don't know. I can understand TPing that is all in good fun! I do not get angry when people TP me. But when people take to shaving cream and egging it has gone too far!
Just want to know your views :)

I think TP is pointless, and if you live in a nicer, suburb type area it tends to upset neighbors, and it's really a hassle to clean up no matter. when I toilet papered peoples houses as a kid, or juvenile deliquent, as my mom would call me when I was getting into trouble. It was to be mean, mean things can seem funny, but when that is the reason behind it, mean things aren't something to be laughed at.
As for you saying you don't want the parents to suffer cause they didn't know the sibling did it. Hate to say it, but isn't it a parents job to know what their kids are doing, and where they are at. My mom always found me, even when I didn't want her to. But I'm not going to say it always happened before, I did my dirty deeds, but her being the parent, she is responsible for me til my legal age changes. It's no different then me owning my dog, and he bites someone, and I say it's not my fault I didn't know what he was doing when he was walking around the front yard...I am his guardian, his owner, I am responsible for whatever he does, and that includes cleaning up the poo, all his dirty messes of poo.
