Gitmo prisoners to get free laptops

Gee, isn't it nice to know the poor, unfortunate pwisoners in gitmo are being taken care of? They're getting computer lessons now and free laptops. Where's my free laptop? Where's yours? What's Obama gonna do, make them join his new internet cop program? They also get fast food delivered to them. If this is torture, I wanna piece of it!!!

They get soo many punishments and tortures daily and I gurantee that you wouldn't be able to handle it for an hour, why can't you just leave them alone and let them have at least something to look forward to!!

Dude, they get treated better than citizens in federal US prisons. Only 3 terrorists were ever waterboarded. Go ahead and show me evidence that any detainees were tortured daily. It's a load of crap and everyone who has inspected GITMO from the UN and the Obama administration has said that it complies with the Geneva convention and US law.

I actually met two released Guantanamo Bay Prisoner who are Moazzam Begg & Martin Mubanga. They talked about their experience and prison is nothing compared Guantanamo Bay, do you actually think that normal prisoners will get worse treatment than "so called terrorists?" You say that everyone who inspected Guantanamo Bay have said it complies with the Geneva Convention, well obviously they going to say it complies with the Geneva Convention thats like a Jew going into the Gaza strip and saying that everything is fine! Mate think outside the box!!

I could not find a link for that. Could you tell me where you read that. I know that they are being allowed to watch satellite TV now. 5 stations have been approved, but I have not seen anything about laptops. And where would they get fast food delivery from?
I also know that they are doing upgrades to the medium and maximum security areas leading one to think that it will be awhile til the place will close.

I'm not a bit surprised. I also heard that they get cable television which includes Aljazeera channel. Which is a radical Muslim station in Iran. I only hope they have the sense to monitor what sites they visit. But I doubt it...
My main concern with them closing Gitmo is, where will future P.O.Ws or detainees go from other wars? Here to the U.S.? It's bad enough our prisons are already over crowed. And bad enough we might have to support terrorists for the rest of their lives. How many more will be able to come to U.S. prisons and have better lives than they would in their third world countries?
