Scripture - John 20:24-29 Thomas did not believe the other disciples when they told him that they saw Jesus. A lot of people are the same, they hear the gospel many times but still don't believe. Only when Thomas saw Jesus, did he believe. Jesus said '...blessed are those who have not seen and yet have believed.' That includes every person who believe, none has seen Jesus in person but many believe, and the reward for believe is eternal life. When we descide to believe, even though we have not seen, will we have an experience with Jesus. Those who have met Jesus in faith, they are those who will be blessed, and inherit eternal life. Many hear the gospel many times, but only after hearing it many times do they start believing, and then they experience Jesus. I have believed since I can remember, but I never made a descision to follow Him. When I did make that descision, did I know what it means to realy believe. Many know of Jesus, but not all truly believe. To know is to bear knowledge; to believe is t live accordingly.

You must go beyond just belief in Jesus. You must choose to follow Him. The Bible tells us that even the demons believe and tremble. To truly be a believer means to follow in His footsteps.

Yes, you are right. We are to follow in His footsteps. Jesus not only came to die for us, but also to set an example for us on how to glorify the Father. May you be blessed.
