Scripture - John 21:3-6 The disciples was trying to get fish the whole night but with no success. When morning came and they wanted to go ashore, Jesus told them to trow the net to the right of the boat. They did as He said and got more than enough fish. Many times we try very hard to get something done, even something good like some kind of ministry, etc. We put in all our efforts but to no avail. Then we spend some time in prayer about the situation and find out that God has something else in mind. When we follow His lead, we find that it is actualy better that what it would have been if we had done it our way. We need to be depended on our Lord for He knows best. He knows us better than we know ourselfs, He even knows our motives. If we always seek His guidense in everything, we will find that things are turning out much better than we anticipated. We are most of the time stuborn and want to do things our way, because we believe we are doing the right thing. Our motives might be good, and we only have good intentions. Sometimes we even hear that still small vaoice of the Holy Spirit telling us not to do it in that way. We still persist, and things turn out to be disasterous. Sometimes we have to make mistakes to learn. The more we learn, the more we know that we can always rely on the Almighty God, who is allknowing, and He will always give correct guidence. Let us be led by the Spirit and glorify our God. Blessings

Wonderful thought Beertjie and it speaks to me directly. What we need to learn is to differentiate the voice of the holy spirit. This is what I am trying to do. Not because of stubbornness that makes me do mistakes but because I have been lying on myself for so long that now that I have began walking back with God that I tends to disobey even when I see the wonders of his love and his caring ways when I leave things up to him. It was today I was talking to my boyfriend about this and so coming here and reading your thought for the day only cemented what God want of me to understand. Thank you so much and I wish you God's continue blessing for you and your family.
