I found that you can write a book and get published, without - a lot of expense to go along with it.
I recently published "Feed Your Dog" with Publish America. I had heard that they do very little in the publishing field. Well, that is entirely wrong. True enough, they are human too, but my book is across the internet in places that i have not even heard of, and in some very nice places ... that i have heard of.
I would give Publish America, and A. Yes, indeed. I am looking forward to the sales of my book.
Join me, and get yours published too.

Congratulations on your book being published. Could you be a little more specific as to cost and how many copies you had to order. I would like to publish my own genealogy and family history book but since we don't have a big family anymore, I was thinking of just a few copies. I don't think other people would be interested in purchasing a book on our family, so I am not in it to make money, just document forever our history and ancestors for future generations.

Actually publishing did not cost me anything. And, as far as buying copies of your book, you only do that...if you want to. I have not purchased any of my own books to date. I will be doing so pretty soon though, since Alba is getting a Library. Our town is small, so i thought that would make a good contribution to the library.
As far as other peoples interest, you just never know, who is going to want a copy of your book. I would say "go for it". Get your book published.
