Saturday is my day to watch Video on Demand. Today I had the pleasure of watching Righteous Kill with the two of them working together!!! OMG what a exciting movie!!! Do they every play well off each other!!! Do you like Robert DeNiro or Al Pacino??? Which do you like the most??? Have you ever seen them in the same movie??? What is your favorite movie for either of them??? Last month I watched Al in 88 minutes. That was one of the most suspenseful movies I have ever seen with Al Pacino (& that is hard to say). I won't tell you what it's about so I won't ruin it for you when you get to see it.

I think you will enjoy it!!! I was pleasantly surprised by it!!! I strongly suggest that you don't try & figure out the ending & let it surprise you!!! The ending made the WHOLE movie!!!

Don't know how it happened, but it seems I missed seeing Heat. I'll be sure to watch it the next time it's on!!! I just watched This Boy's Life with DeNiro. I just figured out the difference of the two in my mind. DeNiro plays a psycho who is truly a bad person. While Pacino plays a psycho you can't help but admire. They BOTH are great actors in their own right. They just approach the same type character from the opposite direction.

Righteous Kill was very good and I enjoyed it immensely! I also love the two of them together in "Heat". Pacino always manages to pull off this larrikin type quality in his roles and he did it once again in Righteous Kill to great effect. Confident, savvy and you can't help but feel an instant connection to the characters he plays. I loved him in Scent of a Woman too. De Niro is certainly a powerhouse in his own right too, but in a totally different way to Pacino. DeNiro was excellent in Cape Fear and Casino and I think I've liked pretty much all movies he's been in! He even pulls off the comedic roles really well too, like in Meet the Parents.

I think it's the connection that he makes us feel that makes Pacino sooo GREAT!!!
Don't know how I did it, but it seems I missed seeing Heat. VoD has every movie DeNiro & Pacino made right now. Every movie EXCEPT Heat. Of course, they're showing all the ones I've seen before. Ain't that a bummer!!!

Thanks for sharing this with all of us. I have not seen this movie yet either. I will try to make it a point to watch it if it is ever on the free programming channels on my Dish Network.

I have seen them in the same movie, and the do make quite a good pair. They are both amazing actors. I think I personally like Robert DeNiro better, because I have seen more of his movies, and he branches out into comedies as well. Al Pacino is amazing too though

I think DeNiro is a great actor. However, I find Pacino to be MUCH GREATER!!!Yes, he's a more serious actor, but he's GREAT at being serious!!!
